Supervisory Exposure Phase:

The intern will be spending time with the management teamwhile reviewing service and operational challenges with objective of constantlyimprove service standards and address guest complaints. During this phase ofthe training the Intern will be helping management in collecting analyticaldata using company software and building financial analysis.

Beach Club and Banquet Training:

During this phase the intern will be focusing on Food andBeverage Flows and Labor Management. The intern will be now reviewing DiningRoom Set up by following event orders and will prepare side work charts. Theintern will help management to build opening and closing procedures and willassign employees to different areas of the dining room based on service needs.The intern will be also helping management to develop staffing pars, trainingmaterials and to build schedules following budgets. During this phase we willalso teach the intern on how to discipline employees and about the importanceof time and attendance with objective of communicate sense of responsibilitywithin a large team.

Sports House Management (Formal Dining) Phase:

During this phase we want the intern to focus on menudesign, menu development as well as food preparation techniques anddescriptions. The intern will be also exposed to wine list maintenance and tothe necessary steps to successfully run a beverage program also to all facilitymanagement aspects in order to maintain dining room details up to standards andequipment 100% efficient at all times. This last practice will help the internin building relationships with other departmental leaders and to understandchain of command communication structure. In addition we will review ourreservation system and teach the intern on how optimize booking and structure adining room setup.

Comprehensive Training Plan designed with Food and Beverage Team. 

Primary areas of responsibility will include, quickly to familiarizing with our Fine Culinary Program, taking orders, up-selling and serving our members in a professional and courteous manner, to ensure they have a flawless and memorable experience when they patronize our Food and Beverage outlets.  You may have the opportunity to train at our various Food and Beverage outlets at the Main Club as well as the Beach Club, based on Westchester Country Club business needs.
