ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a seasonal Steward to join our Beach Club Food & Beverage team. This Steward is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of kitchen and kitchen equipment while following strict sanitation procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Beach Club Steward must complete all tasks and assignments as assigned by the Executive Chef and/or Beach Club Chef Manager, including but not limited to:

  • Perform deep-cleaning of kitchen area and equipment
  • Manage washing of all dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment on daily basis
  • Manage removal and disposal of all kitchen area trash
  • Maintain proper Sanitary and safety procedures at all times
  • Perform proper procedures in operating, cleaning and changing chemicals in the Dishwashing machines.


 WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen a plus, but not required
  • Must have ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
  • Must adhere to all WCC guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests
  • Must have ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have ability to work on feet for extended periods of time, lifting and moving boxes up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Working primarily in and around the various Beach Club Food & Beverage outlets and within Beach Club Chef office.

 PAY RANGE

$17.00 hourly compensation
