ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring for seasonal Gatehouse Attendants to join our Summer 2024 Beach Club Security team. 

The Security Gatehouse Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for the members of the Westchester Country Club. This goal will be accomplished by providing professional, cooperative, and courteous service to satisfy the needs of all members which include: Screening all individuals who enter the Beach Club, Guest policy enforcement, and other Club policies and procedures.

This opportunity is available for: seasonal Full Time, seasonal Part Time, and per diem shifts

Shift Hours: Evening shift, 16-40 hours/week

Start Date: 5/24/2024 (Start date does not include training and onboarding before season starts)

End Date: 9/2/2024

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Gatehouse Officer must complete all tasks and assignments as assigned by the Security Operations Supervisor, including but not limited to:

• Provide welcoming customer service. Must be able to communicate & interact professionally with members & guests
• Scan all member parking sticker bar codes to verify name and audit number, and accompanying family members. Log appropriate guest fees and document information
• Follow all club Standard Operating Procedures, safety, and security policies and procedures
• Provide assistance to all Members, employees, and Guests while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor
• Must be flexible to meet scheduling needs including weekends and holidays, and special events such as 4^th of July

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Prior experience in a security or similar role preferred
• Computer literacy required (Tablet), Member/Guest check in software.
• Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members, and guests
• Must possess the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask 
• Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends, holidays and special events as needed

PAY RANGE

$16.00-$17.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
