Busser/Runner | Main Club Member Dining
LOCATION: Westchester Country Club | Rye, NY
DEPARTMENT: Sportshouse Restaurant (Fine-Dining)
COMPENSATION: Non-Exempt (Overtime eligible), Hourly rate commensurate with experience, Health & Wellness Benefits
This position will work closely with Servers in order to provide members and guests with a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Set up dining room tables according to club standards and communicate with captain regarding table reservations
- Assist host and management in meeting, greeting and seating members and guests as needed
-Complete water service for each table, consistently monitoring and refilling as necessary
- Monitor tables and assist with clearing and resetting
- Assist Server with coffee/water service as needed
- Assist Server with proper clearing of courses
-Organize bussed dishes on service trays
- Sort all silverware, glassware and china at dishwashing station
- Complete additional tasks including but not limited to restocking side station with silverware, glassware, linen, etc.

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
The following describes the general qualifications and physical, sensory and mental abilities normally associated with performing the essential functions of this position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School degree or equivalent preferred
- Three to six months of related work experience and/or training strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic mathematical skills preferred
-Ability to multitask and operate within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable of Hospitality / Culinary Terms
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
