ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring for seasonal Aquatics Supervisors to join our Summer 2024 Beach Club team. 

The Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Aquatics Director and Director of Beach Club Operations in the management, training, and overall support of the Beach Club Aquatics team. 


WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Aquatics Supervisor must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Director of Beach Club Operations and/or Aquatics Director, including but not limited to:

  • Assist with the management of daily Aquatics team operations, assuring all team members are functioning as needed and performing all necessary assignments and tasks
  • Assure the safe operation, cleanliness and maintenance of all designated Aquatics equipment and areas
  • Manage opening and closing of Aquatics facilities, communicating regularly with management and maintenance teams regarding repairs and documenting accordingly
  • Ensure the safety of all designated Aquatics areas by enforcing all applicable safety and Club policies
  • Provide thorough, hands-on supervision of Aquatics team members Maintain a high level of visibility, ensuring availability to respond to team member, Member and guest inquiries

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Current and valid Lifeguarding certification or Lifeguard Instructor Certification
  • Current and valid First Aid certification
  • CPR / AED Certified for Professional Rescuer
  • WSI (American Red Cross)  or comparable certification Certified Pool Operator (CPO) License a plus
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a Lifeguard role
  • Minimum six (6) months experience in a Head Lifeguard role and/or equivalent supervisory experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests
  • Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, demonstrating strong leadership qualities across and beyond Aquatics team
  • Must have ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must have ability to multitask and handle pressure in an effective, professional and efficient manner
  • Must adhere to all WCC guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Must have ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation
  • Must have ability to properly use aquatic equipment


PAY RANGE

$17.00-$25.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
