POSITION: Bar Back (Part Time)

LOCATION: Westchester Country Club,Rye, New York

DEPARTMENT: Sportshouse Restaurant (Fine-Dining)

COMPENSATION: Non-Exempt (overtime eligible), Hourly rate commensurate with experience


POSITIONOBJECTIVE:

This position isresponsible for ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the Main Club Barsand Bar areas.

 

ESSENTIAL JOBFUNCTIONS:

- Set up and prepareBar at top of shift, including cleaning, stocking, checking and achieving parlevels, and preparing all items for the Bar

- Stock all liquor,beverage and other Bar supplies according to WCC procedures

- Maintain liquor,beer, fruit and ice stock throughout shift, replenishing as needed and in atimely and efficient manner

- Maintain stock ofglassware, restocking as needed

- Maintain sanitationand organization of Bar and all corresponding areas including Bar work areasand storage areas

- Manage trash removalin Bar and corresponding areas

- Assist with Memberand Guest requests, consistently providing impeccable service

- Perform additionalassignments as requested by Management/Supervisory/Bar team

- Availability to worka flexible schedule throughout summer season, including weekends and holidays

EDUCATION& SKILLS:

- Previous Bar and/orService experience a plus

 

PHYSICAL,SENSORY AND MOTOR DEMANDS:

- Must be able tolift, handle and carry beverage items, supplies, glass racks, small wares andequipment

- Must be able tostand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)

- Frequent Walking tocollect or deliver goods in various kitchens or reception areas

- Must have ability tomove quickly and multitask in a high stress/high pressure environment
