Seasonal Events Coordinator

Position Summary:  Primarily responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Member Events and Activities Department and assisting with all Member Events and Children’s Activities. Provide support to the Director, and assist with Member service.

Reports to: Director of Publicity

Position Responsibilities

• Contact and speak with Members' directly

• Help Develop and Run Children’s activities, new programs for the season

• Assist on all events, take charge of some events at both our Main Club and Beach Club

• Photography of events and sports

• Correspondence, Filing, Purchase Orders, and other administrative tasks

• Database design and maintenance 

• Keep inventory and order office materials

• Oversee maintenance of office equipment

• Assist with Website design and maintenance

Essential Skills

• Mac Platform proficient

• Microsoft Word and Excel

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop 

• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign helpful

• Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills

• Enthusiastic, friendly and positive energy

• Strong customer service skills

• Strong team player

Physical demands and work environment 

• Physical demands while performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sitting, standing, walking, for a period of time

• The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 15 pounds.  

  • Applicant must be flexible as this position will vary between 20-40 hours a week depending on the need of the department.
