Responsible for managing the front office desk overnight and respond to all members’ requests and emergencies. Duties include running overnight reports, checking guests in / out and respond to all incoming calls.

Act as a welcoming guests, accurately checking in and checking out members and guests from the overnight rooms; answering and directing all phones calls to correct department; providing concierge services as requested by members and guests; handling all reservation phone calls and answering all reservation emails in a professional manner. 

This position will also be responsible for processing the nightly audit and assisting the Accounting department with varying tasks. 


  • Verify and balance daily ledger entries for all revenue generating outlets on property including hotel rooms and Food & Beverage outlets.
  • If discrepancies appear, the Night Auditor is to investigate and correct them.
  • Print various ends of day reports for various outlets including hotel rooms and Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Act as a Front Desk Agent on the overnight shift, checking Members/Guest in or out, taking reservations by phone, give driving directions to Club.
  • Monitor overnight staff.


  • Excellent presentation, well groomed and professional
  • Personable, excellent customer service skills, ability to interact professionally with members and guests, member recognition and use of their names is critical
  • Good financial acumen
  • Good understanding of Hotel Management Computer Systems (Jonas or other)
  • Ability to communicate with other team members efficiently 
  • Knowledge of computers, Knowledge of General Accounting, Customer Service, Financial Acumen, Self Motivator 
  • Extensive knowledge of the local area (New York City), including restaurants, theater, and entertainment.
  • Exemplary “customer service” orientation and outstanding hospitality skills are required and smiles are mandatory.

Education and Experience:

  • AA degree on Management Hospitality, Accounting, Business Admiration, Finance is preferable  
  • 2 + years working as a front desk agent or night auditor for an upscale hotel or Club - required

Physical, sensory and motor demands:

  • Must be able to sit, stand and exert well paced mobility for up to 8-hours in length.
  • Excellent physical fitness, visual acuity and sense of urgency to attend to member’s needs.
