This position is responsible for assisting the Squash Professional in all aspects of running a successful and busy Squash program.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Active Squash Duties include but are not limited to:
Coaching and teaching all levels of player at the club, both juniors and adults.
Special focus on expanding our current U11 and Middle School programs, where we are seeing increased demand.
Coaching and supporting the elite program, which includes setting training programs, attending junior tournaments and providing performance advice to the players.
The doubles program has been revitalized, playing with and building clinic groups, filling games and encouraging participation.
In addition some local schools practice at Westchester Country Club and require coaching and assistance.
Creating and offering fun and competitive summer camp and squash programming for players.
Administrative Duties include but are not limited to:
Managing the front desk, responding to emails and phone messages in a timely fashion. In particular you will have these duties on weekends.
Regularly updating and maintaining all contact, participation and tournament entry rosters and lists.
Ensuring the squash schedule is clear and covered by the squash team.
Maintaining a weekly inventory for the pro shop, reordering when stock is low and bringing new products (apparel and equipment) to the attention of the Director for consideration.
Event and tournament organization, you will be the Director’s main assistant for the development of the squash calendar, encouraging greater participation and introducing new and fun events.

Strong coaching ability with all levels of Squash players
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Solid computer skills to generate lesson reports and maintain attendance registries.
Good financial acumen and salesmanship to help grow the Squash business
JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
The following describes the general qualifications and physical, sensory and mental abilities normally associated with performing the essential functions of this position.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven Squash coaching experience
College degree preferred
Legal authorization to work in the USA (no Visa sponsorship)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Willingness to coach all levels of players
Special interest in expanding and leading Adults Doubles Program
High level of energy, self-motivated and teamplayer
First Aid/CPR/AED Defibrillator training preferred
Language and Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate & interact professionally with members & employees
Physical, sensory and motor demands:
Frequent Squash playing /coaching, walking, and standing.
